Change of licensor

    Notification of change of licensor

    Dear contractual partners,

    in accordance with the provisions of Article 1.4.1. of the General Terms and Conditions of the Payment Card Acceptance Agreement, we hereby inform you that, with effect from December 3, 2025, GP Payments Acquiring International GmbH (formerly EVO Payments International GmbH, with registered office at Cäcilienkloster 2-10, 50676, Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany) will transfer its rights and obligations arising from the Contractual Documentation to Global Payments Europe, s.r.o. (with registered office at V olšinách 626/80, Strašnice, 100 00 Prague 10, Company ID: 27088936).

     

    What does this mean for you?

    Global Payments Europe, s.r.o. will, as a payment institution, provide the following services within the Services:

    1. transfer of all amounts payable to the Contractual Partner for delivered goods or services provided, which were paid by Customers using Payment Cards, to the Contractual Partner's Account;
    2. at its own discretion or upon instruction from EVO Czech Republic s.r.o., set off amounts payable by the Contractual Partner under the Agreement, including Chargebacks, against amounts that would otherwise be transferred to the Contractual Partner under the Agreement;
    3. at its own discretion or upon instruction from EVO Czech Republic s.r.o., deduct amounts payable to the Contractual Partner under the Agreement.

    EVO Czech Republic s.r.o. remains a contracting party to the Agreement and will provide all other Services not provided by Global Payments Europe, s.r.o., including the following:

    1. processing of Authorization;
    2. processing of Transactions;
    3. identifying Transactions that meet the criteria for suspicious Transactions;
    4. blocking Transactions classified as potentially unusual Transactions;
    5. handling complaints within the Card Schemes; and
    6. issuing instructions to Global Payments Europe, s.r.o. described in points b) and c) above.

     

    What else will change?

    The account holder from whom you receive funds from transactions made at our payment terminals and payment gateway. The account holder's name is usually displayed on your current account transaction statement.

    Original holder:            GP Payments Acquiring International GmbH

    New holder:                   Global Payments Europe, s.r.o.

     

    Everything else remains the same.

    We will continue to provide you with all the services you are used to, in the same scope and quality. Our teams of sales, technicians, customer support and other support departments will remain unchanged.
